Welcome goaltenders and parents to The Rock Goaltender Training and Instruction. My name is Nolan Schaefer. I am a former NHL goaltender with the San Jose Sharks and currently consultant and coach for Clear Sight Development as well as VP of Future Product Development at Clear Sight Analytics.

The goal in starting this online goaltender class and community was to stay in touch with students during a very hard year. We started off with some online camps which quickly grew into this amazing community of like minded goaltenders and parents that want to learn about the position of goaltending.
​
At "The Rock" each goaltender will attend a weekly online LIVE class taught by me, Nolan Schaefer. Classes are conducted on a Zoom Meeting and recorded and published to our MEMBERS Only, PRIVATE, Rock Goaltender Facebook Group. In this group goaltenders will interact, answer questions, and be challenged with video content for learning. Each student will be encouraged to share their videos and questions each week to the group.

Goaltending is mental. Every goaltender needs guidance. Teaching and mentoring from a coach with experience at the highest level. We also need relationship with peers that are going through and learning the same lessons. Join us in getting best experience from the game and position we so dearly love.
